Brooklyn eight-piece San Fermin started to make ripples in the music industry after touring with the likes of St.

Vincent, Arctic Monkeys and Courtney Barnet in 2014. The edgy pop-tastic hipsters are now set to rock UK shores in their own right with a European tour and new album Jackrabbit, written by band leader Ellis Ludwig-Leone, on its way in April. They recorded their second album while on tour, using influences from the artists they supported and co-producing with Peter Katis (Interpol). What began as a solo effort, Ludwig-Leone - who studied music at Yale University - was soon joined by friends Allen Tate, Charlene Kaye (both vocals), John Brandon (trumpet), Stephen Chen (saxophone), Rebekah Dunn (violin), Michael Hanf (drums) and Tyler McDiarmid (guitar). Connecting the worlds of classical music, pop and rock, San Fermin are set to bring their unusual sound to London this year.
