Dame Dame Joan Collins, Brenda Blethyn, Christopher Biggins and Charlotte Crosby are among celebrities who've announced their support for Barnardo's Fostering campaign by releasing photos of themselves as adolescents and sharing 'pearls of wisdom' passed down by their family.

The initiative aims to recruit more foster carers in the UK and raise awareness of Barnardo's Fostering Week. Blethyn, a Barnardo's ambassador, said 'The work foster carers do is invaluable, as they offer vulnerable children and young people a stable, safe and caring home, sometimes for the first time in their lives'.
