Half of a Yellow Sun actress Thandie Newton and former World Heavyweight Champion David Haye have been named as PETA UK's Sexiest Vegan Celebrities of 2014, following in the footsteps of previous winners including John Bishop, Lily Cole, Leona Lewis, Eliza Doolittle and Russell Brand.

The award is given to recognise celebrities for their efforts in 'promoting compassion for animals, while demonstrating how healthy plant based eating can be'.
