Born into artistic stock (the son of iconic actress Charlotte Rampling, and stepson to Jean Michel Jarre) Southcombe, 42, made a name for himself as an emerging director, screenwriter and producer with the release of I, Anna in 2012.
Starring his mother in the lead role, the noir thriller, which he wrote and directed, picked up an award at the Vancouver Film Festival, before Southcombe went on to executive produce Uberto Pasolini's Still Life (featuring Eddie Marsan and Joanne Froggatt). He recently wrapped the Drew Barrymore and Toni Collette vehicle Miss You Already, set for release in 2015.
