British actor Edward Ashley was cast in Ron Howard's feature In the Heart of the Sea, playing the role of Barzallai Ray alongside Chris Hemsworth, Cillian Murphy, Charlotte Riley and Ben Whishaw, released early 2015.
Ashley, who previously played Sarah Lancashire's son in Last Tango in Halifax, will also appear in new Netflix series Sense8 from The Matrix trilogy creators Andy and Lana Wachowski.i.
