Following several minor roles on the small screen - including parts in shows such as The Bletchley Circle, Coronation Street and 24: Live Another Day - Mark Dexter is about to make his break-out performance playing David Cameron in Channel 4's highly anticipated Coalition.

The drama sees the British, RADA trained actor - who initially made his mark on the stage, beginning with Sam Mendes's 1995 Olivier Award winning production of The Glass Menagerie - star opposite Mark Gatiss and will be screened ahead of the General Elections in 2015, charting Nick Clegg's rise from outsider to Deputy Prime Minister in 2010.
