Spaced actress Jessica Hynes has lent her support to the Action for Children and HomeSense Hang a Bauble fundraising campaign.

The initiative encourages families across the UK to write a festive message on a special Christmas bauble, which they can hang on the Christmas tree in any HomeSense store in return for a small donation. Hynes commented 'I have such fond memories of Christmas, but I know that for so many thousands of children and young people in the UK the festive season can be a difficult time.
