Worcester Warriors rugby player Mat Gilbert has been announced as the new ambassador for Action on Hearing Loss.

Gilbert, who's to support the charity's work and help raise awareness, is currently the UK's only deaf professional sports person. He's previously backed Action on Hearing Loss's campaign for more deaf people to get involved in mainstream sport through clubs or gyms, and for coaches to be more 'deaf aware' to help those who suffer from hearing loss to 'have the chance to play on a level playing field'.
