Sarah-Jane Crawford has teamed up with BBC Radio 1Xtra to help launch The Sessions, a programme of events and workshops with celebrities including MistaJam, Charlie Sloth, A.

Dot and Crawford, taking place in venues across Birmingham. The project aims to empower young people with practical skills and to build on their existing knowledge and talent. Rhys Hughes, Head of Programmes, Radio 1 and 1Xtra, commented 'Along with putting on an amazing gig with a fantastic line up, we wanted to offer some real grass roots, innovative sessions for the young people of Birmingham'.
