Australian novelist Brooke Davis has sold her debut novel Lost & Found in over 20 countries so far, making it sure to be one of the breakout hits of 2015.

Released in January 2015 in the UK and already a bestseller in Australia, Lost & Found is the story of Millie Bird, a seven year old whose mother abandons her in a shopping centre after the death of her father. It follows novels such as The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, What Milo Saw and Wonder as it explores heavy-hitting themes with humorous, imaginative storytelling through the eyes of a young narrator. Davis, who's also an independent bookseller, said 'I wanted to explore what it means to grieve, not as a process that begins and ends and is only about sadness, but as part of life'.
