Mark B Mills's new novel Waiting For Doggo, released by Headline Review on November 20, has already been the subject of a lot of online buzz.

Although he's released a number of novels before, including Richard and Judy summer read The Savage Garden, Waiting For Doggo marks a departure from Mills's usual crime and thriller novels into a humorous, easy-to-read style reminiscent of David Nicholls and Nick Hornby as he tells the story of Dan, forced to look after his girlfriend Clara's small, ugly dog after she unceremoniously leaves him. Waiting For Doggo's an engaging and warm book that's sure to be a big hit with dog-lovers and book-lovers alike.
