Laura Mvula has been announced as the ambassador for The National Foundation for Youth Music's Give A Gig campaign, which asks music fans and artists to put on a show in aid of the charity.

Mvula, who took part in Youth Music projects herself along with music acts such as Rizzle Kicks, King Krule and Lulu James, commented 'For me, music has been a healing, uplifting and empowering force so for a child living in challenging circumstances it's something that might help in a very practical and specific way'.
