ITV has been announced as the new home of the MOBO Awards after agreeing a three year partnership to broadcast coverage of the ceremony on ITV2, with highlights on ITV's main channel.

The awards, which take place October 22, celebrate and showcase the best in British and international urban music talent, acting as a 'catalyst' for artists including Craig David, Rita Ora and Amy Winehouse, who were given a first platform by MOBO or won the Best Newcomer Award.
