Spanish footballer Ander Herrera looks set to make waves in the Premier League during the 2014-15 season after signing with Manchester United.

The 25 year old will play in central midfield for the northern club, filling the boots of Paul Scholes who retired from the sport last year. Herrera began his career at Real Zaragoza, before signing with his home town club Athletic Bilbao in 2011, and has also played for Spain at Under 20 and Under 21 levels. After failing to make the top four last season, Herrera will aim to help Manchester United reclaim a top spot in the Premier League under its new manager Louis van Gaal.
