Former TOWIE star Joey Essex has been announced as the first celebrity ambassador of Child Bereavement UK, which supports families and educates professionals when a child dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement.

Essex, whose mother died when he was ten, said 'It was really hard when my mum died, so I'm very happy to help Child Bereavement UK, so they can support other kids, and parents like my Dad, who are going through what we went through'.
