Rowing champion and Olympic gold medalist James Cracknell is to work with think tank Policy Exchange to explore the effect of obesity and inactivity on the future economic health of Britain.

Cracknell, who'll examine how UK policy could learn from more effective governments' actions and study the effects of healthy eating and active lifestyles on private and public sector productivity, said 'It's high time that both politicians and society wake up to the long-term effects that obesity and inactivity will have on our country'.
