Celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke has been announced as the new ambassador for Sense International, which supports deafblind people in Bangladesh, India, Kenya, Tanzania, Peru, Romania and Uganda.

Clarke said 'As a hairdresser, I simply can't imagine what it would be like not to be able to see or hear - my senses are integral to my work, to my creativity and to being able to practise my craft, so I'm really impressed by how Sense International work to help people learn new skills and embrace new vocations in order to participate, connect and contribute to their communities'.
