X Factor 2013 winner Sam Bailey has been announced as ambassador for St Giles Trust and is to help raise awareness of the charity's work with people who have been caught up in crime.

Bailey, a former prison officer, commented 'I really feel inspired by the passion and energy from all the volunteers and staff at St Giles Trust. I'm really looking forward getting involved with the trust to help make a difference... It's a subject I feel very passionate about and this way I still get to keep a link to a job I loved!'.
