BRIT School graduate James Tarpey was recently cast as 18 year old Willow Hannigan in new Sky 1 sitcom After Hours, marking his first lead role in a TV series.

Tarpey made his stage debut in Sarah Nivan's adaptation of Vernon God Little, and went on to play the title role in the award-winning short film Callum. Having also appeared in Edgar Wright's The World's End alongside Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, Tarpey will next be seen in feature films Robot Overlords and The Beat Beneath My Feet, both set for release later this year (exact dates tbc).
