Stephen Campbell Moore, best known for playing Irwin in The History Boys both on stage and on screen, has been announced as celebrity ambassador for The Pituitary Foundation, which supports people with disorders of the pituitary gland and their families.

Campbell Moore, also known for starring in TV series Ashes To Ashes and The Wrong Mans, had a large benign tumour removed from his pituitary gland in 2012, and used his recent appearance in acclaimed West End play Chimerica to raise money for the foundation.
