Actress Piper Perabo, who's appeared in films including Coyote Ugly, Covert Affairs and Looper, has joined with the International Rescue Committee to become an IRC voice, joining Rashida Jones, John Legend and Morena Baccarin.

The Committee aims to raise awareness of the needs of refugees and those who have been displaced by war, religious persecution or political oppression. Perabo commented 'Whether it's assisting refugees who have been forced to flee the Syrian conflict or guiding refugee youth through the New York public school system, [the IRC's] work is important, impactful and transforms lives'.
