Smooth vocals reminiscent of Usher, Frank Ocean and Miguel, Raheem Bakaré is single-handedly giving new life to British R&B.

Hailing from London town, Bakaré's debut release, Portrait Of Love, caused quite a storm following its impact and the track was quickly picked up by Radio 1Xtra's CJ Beatz who promptly made it his record of the week. Proving to be much more than a one-hit wonder, Raheem backed up the offering with an eight piece body of work titled, AWOL (Absent Without Leave), launched June 1. Keen to become a household name within the industry, the singer/songwriter has already performed headline slots at I Luv Live, Kensington Roof Gardens, The Social, Jazz Café and Soho House.
