Roar singer Katy Perry is to appear on the July cover of every international edition of Cosmopolitan, marking the first time all 62 editions share the same cover in a 'global takeover' for the magazine.

US Cosmopolitan editor in chief Joanna Coles described Perry, who's interviewed by Chelsea Handler in the magazine, as 'the first Cosmo global icon', saying 'Katy's music and attitude have universal appeal to young women everywhere. She crosses all cultural boundaries. Her music is soulful and empowering in equal measure'.
