Journalist and TV presenter Jennie Bond has been announced as ambassador for the Bupa London 10,000, which she'll be taking part in on May 25 as her first ever 10k run.

Bond, whose participation is intended to inspire people aged between 60-75 to take up running, commented 'Like a lot of people my age I'm not a runner, so the thought of completing the Bupa London 10,000 at 63 is daunting... Bupa is providing me with the support to get me to the start line in peak condition'.
