Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have teamed up with Construction For Change and Lewis's mother Julie Lewis, who has HIV, to create the 30/30 Project, which intends to bring healthcare to those who need it most, initially focusing on building a health centre in the Neno District of Malawi where 10% of people are HIV+.

Lewis commented 'Thanks to advanced medicine and healthcare available here in the US, my mom has lived despite her odds. To honour the 30 years my mom has been a survivor, our family is raising funds to build health centres worldwide that will stand strong for at least 30 years'.
