Former Daily Mail assistant editor and news editor Tony Gallagher is returning to the newspaper in the role of joint deputy editor, which he'll share with Jon Steafel.
Gallagher, who left his role as Editor of the Daily Telegraph in January, said he's 'delighted' to be returning to the Mail after eight years.
