Already known to US audiences for playing Ian Gallagher in the American version of Shameless, Cameron Monaghan is set to gain an international reputation in 2014 and beyond with a host of high profile film roles.

The Californian born actor will be seen next by UK audiences on the big screen in the eagerly anticipated film adaptation of Vampire Academy alongside Zoey Deutch and James Fry. While across the pond Monaghan will gain attention when he's seen in Jamie Marks Is Dead (which won critical acclaim when it premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2014) and The Giver alongside Meryl Streep, Alexander Skarsgård and Taylor Swift (in her debut film role). Both projects are yet to have a UK release date.
