The Music Circle has announced it's partnered with singer Charlotte Church, who will serve as ambassador for the music industry charity on a trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo next month, and visit some of the projects it funds.

The charity is a subsidiary of Annie Lennox and Oxfam's The Circle, and raises money for women within the DRC to help increase awareness about the poverty and inequality that exists for women in the country. Emily Cooper, founder of The Music Circle, described Church as 'a great spokeswoman' who is 'very passionate'.
