Olympic gold medallist Steve Backley has teamed up with BMI Healthcare to support The Clementine Churchill Hospital's Active for Life campaign, which aims to raise awareness for bone and joint health.

Backley, who underwent a hip replacement in 2005, commented 'I'm supporting BMI Active for Life to highlight the importance of bone and joint health to hopefully help more people lead an active life to reduce their risk of needing joint replacement surgery as they age'.
