The Daily Mail has launched its new Diary, the Shakespeare column, headed up by Sebastian Shakespeare, previously Londoner's Diary editor at the Evening Standard, with Richard Eden, formerly of The Telegraph's Mandrake column, as deputy diary editor.
James Hughes-Onslow, who worked at the Londoner's Diary alongside Shakespeare, is also set to join the team. Richard Kay, Daily Mail diary editor for ten years, stepped down earlier this month.
