North London based duo THIEF is set to hit the big time this year after the buzz surrounding their first gig at the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen in January, during which they showcased their original brand of 80s inspired laidback electro.

Formed in 2012 by vocalist Charlotte Mallory and keyboard player Fin Munro (a model and DJ who's already part of London's elite, partly thanks to his parents Gary Kemp and Sadie Frost), the band's best known for song Friend Lover. The single had its first play on Radio One in early 2014 courtesy of BBC Introducing with Jen and Ally, and has already been Track of the Week on Amazing Radio. They're set to play their second official show at The Notting Hill Arts Club, and plan to release an EP in spring 2014.
