Scottish actor Kevin Guthrie, who appeared in Sunshine on Leith and Trash Humpers, has been announced as Speur-Ghlan's first ambassador.
The Scottish autism charity delivers early intervention programmes for young children diagnosed with autism or with developmental delays, using a range of approaches including play and music based therapy sessions, and is also backed by Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, who became its first patron in November last year. Guthrie commented 'Every kid in this world deserves the right to the best chance - the best development possible for them. When the chance comes along for us to help, in any way we can, it is our duty to say yes'.
