London based Young's first novel We All Ran Into the Sunlight was published in 2011 to critical acclaim, but its her second book Season to Taste that is set to make her a household name.

The book, published on January 16, sees a woman kill her husband on a whim, before slowly eating his body to destroy the evidence, a gruesome subject matter which critics have already hailed as the dawn of a new literary genre. With Season To Taste attracting so much attention, critics are already in anticipation of what Young will write next.
