Broadchurch's Olivia Colman and Downton Abbey's Jim Carter have lent their support to Marie Curie's Great Daffodil Appeal, voicing a radio campaign which asks for people to donate an hour of their time during March to help collect donations and hand out daffodil pins.
The ads will be played throughout January on Heart, Magic, Classic FM, Absolute Radio and Smooth Radio, and Colman commented 'The money you raise by encouraging people to donate and wear the charity's daffodil pin will help Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes, as well as vital support for their families, at the most difficult of times'.
