The BFI has announced a three year partnership with luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen, becoming the Official Time Partner of the BFI and the BFI London Film Festival alongside American Express from 2014, and is to provide headline sponsorship of the BFI's fundraising gala LUMINOUS (returning 2015).

IWC Schaffhausen has traditionally supported a number of filmmaking projects and already has partnerships with Tribeca Film Festival, Dubai International Film Festival and the International Film Festival in Beijing.
