09 12 2013

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has been named as the newest Laureus Ambassador, alongside celebrated water polo player Manel Estiarte.

Chairman of the Laureus World Sports Academy Edwin Moses said 'It is an extraordinary honour to welcome two such giants of sport to Laureus. Pep is one of the most celebrated young coaches in any sport today and Manel is quite simply one of the great Olympians. We are honoured that they are joining the Laureus Family and want to support us in our work of helping young people around the world'. The role of a Laureus Ambassador is to use sport community initiatives to address social problems - the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation has raised over €60m since its inception.
