Bo Bruce announced as Pancreatic Cancer UK ambassador

28 11 2013

Singer and The Voice contestant Bo Bruce has been announced as the newest ambassador for Pancreatic Cancer UK, joining Lorraine Kelly, Piers Morgan and Dr Mark Porter.

Bruce lost her mother in 2012 to the disease, which has only a 4% survival rate, and commented 'My mother was diagnosed in January last year, and within six months she was gone... I am keen to support the work of Pancreatic Cancer UK so that I can help them in their efforts to raise awareness of this disease and to show that there is hope. For me, the answer lies in there being a dramatic increase in research investment'.
