Singer/songwriter and model V V Brown has been named as ambassador of The Dignity & Hope Foundation Cambodia, a Christian charity that aims to support 'the work of groups in Cambodia whose aim is to free Cambodian men, women and children from poverty, exploitation and abuse to live lives of dignity and hope'.

Brown, best known for albums Travelling Like The Light and Samson & Delilah, commented 'It felt like the Cambodian people didn't have a voice... The stories of children and their families brought me to tears. I want to make a difference in whatever way I can, and if I have a voice and this body, a mere shell, I will use it to do so; we all should'.
