Welsh born actress Amy Morgan looks set to hit the big time as she joins ITV series Mr Selfridge as central character Grace Calthorpe, alongside Jeremy Piven and Katherine Kelly.

Morgan trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, which has produced alumni such as Eve Myles, Rob Brydon and Ruth Jones, and so far she's been primarily known for her theatre work after winning the Second Prize at the prestigious Ian Charleson Awards in May 2013 for her role as Margery Pinchwife in The Country Wife at the Royal Exchange, Manchester. Morgan's other stage work has included lead roles in Joe Wright's first theatre production, Trelawny Of The Wells at the Donmar Warehouse, and Once A Catholic at the Tricycle Theatre, directed by Kathy Burke, which runs until January 18.
