X Factor judge and former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger has announced she's taken up the position of global ambassador for the Special Olympics, after recording a version of O Holy Night for the organisation's Christmas album.
Scherzinger tweeted 'I'm really excited to have been announced as a global ambassador for @specialolympics!'.
