BBC Radio 6 Music has added rock legends Iggy Pop, Lars Ulrich of Metallica and The Clash's Mick Jones and Paul Simonon to this year's Christmas line-up.

Pop is to present two radio shows on Christmas Day and New Year's Day, while Jones and Simonon present This Is Radio Clash on Boxing Day. Ulrich will be interviewed by Matt Everitt on The First Time With Lars Ulrich, broadcast on Christmas Day. Paul Rodgers, Head of Programmes for 6 Music, said 'Iggy Pop, Paul Simonon, Mick Jones and Lars Ulrich are fascinating characters and have recorded some great shows, with a wide range of eclectic and exciting music choices'.
