Nicolas Ghesquière has been confirmed as the new creative director at Louis Vuitton, succeeding Marc Jacobs, who was at the brand for 16 years.
Ghesquière, who was the creative director of Balenciaga until November last year, is set to begin the role immediately. He described Louis Vuitton as 'the symbol of ultimate luxury, innovation and exploration', adding he's 'honoured of the mission that I am entrusted with, and proud to join the history of this great maison. We share common values and a vision'.
