With his striking dark looks, it's no surprise that Luke Grimes has been cast as the brother of Christian Grey (played by former Calvin Klein model Jamie Dornan) in the big screen adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

Having previously featured in only minor TV and film roles – most notably series six of True Blood and in Taken 2, playing the boyfriend of Liam Neeson's daughter – this promises to be Grimes's big leap into the spotlight. The E L James penned novel has sold 70 million copies worldwide and fans and critics alike are eagerly awaiting the cinematic interpretation of the book as well as Grimes's portrayal as the sibling of Grey. Before the film's release (August 2014) the Ohio born actor will be seen in US cinemas starring in Forever, alongside former True Blood co star Deborah Ann Woll, and Dark Around the Stars, opposite US star Tom Bower.
