Katy Perry has been announced as the new face of CoverGirl, with her first cosmetics campaign to debut in spring 2014.

Esi Eggleston Bracey, VP and General Manager at CoverGirl, describes Perry as 'a true CoverGirl - someone we root for, identify with, and get inspiration from', while Perry says she thinks of cosmetics as 'a powerful creative avenue of self-expression'. Other faces of CoverGirl include P!nk, Sofia Vergara and Ellen DeGeneres.
