Aldo Zilli becomes Bowel Cancer UK patron

Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli has been appointed patron of Bowel Cancer UK and the face of its Great Start Breakfasts initiative, which sees people taking part in charity breakfast events throughout April, Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.

Zilli, who became patron in honour of his late father in law Brian who died of bowel cancer, said that the organisation is 'an important charity which encourages people to recognise the symptoms of bowel cancer and act on their concerns so that they have the best chance of survival'.
