Actress Patsy Kensit has been named Best magazine's new beauty columnist.

The weekly column, titled Patsy Versus The People, tests budget beauty products against luxury brands, and begins in this week's issue of the magazine. Kensit, whose expensive taste will be challenged each week by four 'ordinary' women on a lower beauty budget, says 'while I admit I love a designer buy as much as the next girl, I'm willing to stand corrected'.
