Emerging menswear designer Rory Hutton has brought the fusty, old fashioned bow tie to the forefront of cool.

The Irish émigré launched his own clothing label following internships at Vivienne Westwood and Hardy Amies, and began to make a name for himself with the redesign of the humble male neck accessory, once a staple in the UK. Inspired by all things Victoriana, Hutton crafts his dickie bows out of Irish linen, embellishing them with unusual and eye-catching prints. It wasn’t long before big name retailers took note and his unique sartorial accessories are now available in boutiques across London, as well as online at ASOS. Having already achieved such success at 25, it’s no wonder he’s tipped for even bigger things.
