Ricky Martin has announced he's to write a children's book, set for release in November and available in English and Spanish.

The picture book, illustrated by Patricia Castelao, is titled Santiago the Dreamer in Land Among the Stars and follows a young boy who dreams of becoming a performer. The Livin' La Vida Loca singer said 'I hope this book inspires young readers to believe that dreams woven from their imaginations can become reality'.
