BBC Two has announced that Fern Britton is to present the new series of Grow, Make, Eat: The Great Allotment Challenge.

Starting early 2014, the show will see nine pairs of green fingered gardeners test their horticultural knowledge, creativity and culinary skills, and be judged by three gardening experts - growing expert Jim Buttress, floral expert Jonathan Moseley and preserves expert Thane Prince. Britton was last seen on TV, participating in Strictly Come Dancing 2012.
