Born in London, Ed Skrein started life as an artist then tried his hand as a musician and from there side-stepped into acting.

After studying Fine Art at university, the Camden-bred boy got his first taste of the limelight as an MC, touring clubs throughout the UK and eventually performing with Plan B. From there Skrein bagged his big break in acting, landing a starring role in the singer's 2012 film Ill Manors in which he played a drug dealer. His working relationship with Plan B continued when he featured alongside the star in the cinematic remake of The Sweeney, also starring Ray Winstone and Hayley Atwell. Skrein then took on the role of warrior Daario Naharis in series three of HBO's Game Of Thrones, where he proved a big hit with viewers. With another series of the programme in the pipeline and a massively varied career already behind him, the future's looking very bright for the 30 year old.
